October 10, 2008 - The Democrat Party has finally achieved what the terrorists failed to do on 9/11/01. They have succeeded in almost destroying the American banking system and the economy. And who gets the blame--Republicans as usual. I have to admit that I did not think a few foreclosures would have this much of an effect on the markets. I forgot about the fractional banking system and how highly the banks were leveraged, especially the investment banks. However, buying for the long term is usually a good idea at this kind of market capitulation.
